More debate on dental amalgams. Dr. Huggins spoke in New Zealand about heavy metal poisoning and the health benefits of having your amalgam fillings removed. Other dentists try to refute the claims, but they do admit they are not safe, at least for young children and pregnant women.

Video - Dental Fillings/Mercury Amalgams - Stan Kurtz
This is a very compelling video about dental fillings and their association with mercury poisoning. There show some close-ups of a lady getting a filling removed, and what mercury looks like when it seeps into the teeth.
They make a reference to the number of amalgam fillings a mother of an autistic child has, and it's undesired affect on a fetus; the real effects are not seen or felt for years. What is really disturbing is when then point out that in the state of California, warnings are posted in dental offices about the risk of cancer when exposed to the materials used on dental work. Then in the next paragraph the FDA gives it carte blanche approval.
